I was meandering through the Reliance 3G launch and landed on this page. This page basically has the make and the model and once selected, you get to know if your device is 3G enabled or not. Like all things I started with my phone. This is what it said.
That made sense. I did not need to check in the dropdown but it was ok. Then I kept checking few other models. After few clicks, I was being congratulated for all the choices I selected. Though I liked my success ratio, I got a little envious. The manufacturer list has some strange entries. And after selecting the manufacturer the models in the drop down are even stranger. For Dell it lists, Latitude D620 ATG and PrecisionM4300. And these aren’t mobile phones as I know for sure that Dell has launched 3 phones so far – Streak, XCD28 and XCD35. There is an entry for D-Link and I am not sure how D-Link DWM-156 can be called as a handset.
It doesn’t end there. All they have listed only 3G enabled devices only – laptops, mobiles, modems and what-not. Is it just me or does anyone else see the irony?
