Acer has quietly launched Acer Liquid Mini, an Android powered smartphone in India. Acer Liquid Mini is priced at Rs. 11990 and joins a phalanx of other Android phones in the same price segment. India might be one of the first few countries to get Acer Liquid Mini.
Acer Liquid Mini packs in a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, a 5 megapixel camera and oh yeah! a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen. 3G, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, microUSB, GPS and FM Radio are all on-board. Acer Liquid Mini runs Android 2.2. Micro SD card of 2 GB is included along with the phone and the memory can be expanded to 32 GB.
Acer has come to the arena with proper arsenal. The phone is appropriately priced, specifications are what we expect from a 12K phone and not a whole lot of features are missing. In fact I can’t think of a missing feature. Sure it could have run Android 2.3 but that’s no big deal.
Looks like we have a winner with Acer Liquid Mini.
