Data Infosys, which is no way affiliated to Infosys, has launched a blackberry type application for select Nokia phones. Called as BharatBerry, this app is a 900kb installation for Symbian 3rd edition based Nokia phones.
The service will let users access push email, over-the-air backup of contacts, calendar
and notes. It can sync up with Outlook Email. BharatBerry has a similar app for BlackBerry users too. The service will remain free till Feb 2011, after which a monthly fee of Rs.100 will be charged.
BharatBerry works with Nokia E51, E63, E65, E71 and E90 models. If you own a Nokia E-Series phone then check out BharatBerry and let us know how it went. The app can be downloaded here.
