The T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition by HTC was the first 3.5-inch color touch screen smartphone in the United States in 2002.

saraI agree that HTC is a silent leader. It was all known to the world that apple and Android are the touch screen leaders, but i feel the real credit should go to HTC.
