$8 million for an iPhone, $100,000 for a iPhone case and $13000 for an iPhone app – sounds crazy? Phone pimping is a million dollar industry. A whopping $497 million is spent on phone accessories just in the US in the last 9 months.

When people buy phone they just don’t buy a phone. They buy an entourage. This entourage is what makes a phone personal. Accessories typically include –  case, earphones, ringtones and some apps. 19% of iPhone users and 15% of Android phone users spend $100 to $200 on smartphone accessories. Guess what, a phone with accessories can go a long way into your likeability or coolness factor.
