Since its inception, the nexus series has been a lucrative option for those who want to buy a great Android phone with good features and stock Google experience. While the hardware is usually not as high end as of the other companies like Samsung Galaxy S-series, it’s the pure google experience and its always up-to-date OS that is something that I would easily give my money for.
While, Nexus has not been in India ever since its inception, Google seems to have warmed up to its Indian customers off late. Google has already started selling Nexus 7 in India and we are all wondering if it will soon sell its crown jewel- Nexus 4 in the Indian market as well. There have been many speculations as well regarding this.
Flipkart though is now showing it in its list of mobile phones here.
It is being mentioned out-of-stock as of now but the fact that it is being listed means that the company might be thinking of bringing it to India. There is no update on the Play Store regarding this as of now but even Nexus 7 3G came to Asus site first and then later to the play store.
The price of the phone is Rs. 25990 on flipkart.
With Google I/O around the corner it would indeed be a great thing if Google launches the phone in India or at least announces something of this sort. Before this, there have been ways to procure the phone but most involved buying it in US and getting it shipped like Arun did.
The specs of the phone are also quite attractive for the Indian market-
