Nokia’s most amazing phone which sports a 41 megapixel camera is headed east wards towards India. As per Nokia’s press release Nokia 808 Pureview will be released this month. The price details of Pureview aren’t revealed but this is great news because of India’s early launch. In fact, India along with Russia is one of the first markets Pureview will be available.

When many phones were stumbling at 5 MP’s, Nokia introduced its 12 MP powered Nokia N8. Not many phones competed with N8. Now Nokia hasn’t just gotten two-fold or three-fold but went five-fold to launch a 41 Megapixel camera. Yeah, it’s hard to find cameras with that many megapixels.

Now I don’t want to sound too technical and don’t want to pretend that I understand everything there is in the pixel jargon, but many have argued about these 41 megapixels from Nokia. Long story short, everybody wants it.

The Nokia 808 PureView features a large, high-resolution 41 megapixel Nokia_808_PureView_white_Back_400x400 sensor with high-performance Carl Zeiss optics and new pixel oversampling technology. At standard resolutions (2/3, 5 and 8 megapixels) this means the ability to zoom without loss of clarity and capture seven pixels of information, condensing into one pixel for the sharpest images imaginable. At high-resolution (38 megapixels maximum) it means the ability to capture an image, then zoom, reframe, crop and resize afterwards to expose previously unseen levels of details. With superior low-light performance and the ability to save in compact file sizes for sharing in email, MMS, and on social networks, the Nokia 808 PureView makes it possible for anyone to capture professional looking images in any conditions.

In addition to superior still imaging technology, the Nokia 808 PureView also includes full HD 1080p video recording and playback with 4X lossless zoom and the world’s first use of Nokia Rich Recording. Rich Recording enables audio recording at CD-like levels of quality, previously only possible with external microphones. The Nokia 808 PureView also features exclusive Dolby Headphone technology, transforming stereo content into a personal surround sound experience over any headphones and Dolby Digital Plus for 5.1 channel surround sound playback

Nokia produces little gems once in a while. Nokia N8 was the first gem and it followed it up with Nokia N9. Nokia upped the ante with Nokia 808 Pureview. Now who’s buying Nokia 808?

If you aren’t into buying a confused product like a Samsung Galaxy Note and aren’t really obsessed with a partially eaten fruit, Nokia 808 Pureview is the phone you are looking for.

Since the price isn’t out, what price is justified for this revolutionary Pureview?
