Zen Mobile M25 : 72 day battery life, Dual SIM

By Sriram Vadlamani | on October 12, 2010 | 1 Comment
Mobiles

72 day battery life. 72 day what? You read that right. It’s 72 day battery life. That’s what the new Zen Mobile M25 offers. 72 days or 1728 hours of standby time and 16 hours of talk time is what Zen Mobile M25 promises. You might have already figured out who would be using that. People living with erratic or no power supply. Heck it can even replace the landline, if the landline is not bundled with a data connection.

Like all things in India which have to be endorsed by Amitabh Bhachan, M25 is endorsed by Mr. Bachan. How much ever we want to make fun of the advertisements and celebrity endorsements, one thing is true. I wouldn’t have noticed M25 and its remarkable battery life, if it wasn’t endorsed by Amitabh Bhachan. That’s the power of advertising and the very reason why companies spend millions to get the celebrity on-board. There are exceptions though. BSNL 3G services in spite being endorsed by hot Deepika Padukone it never took off.

The things I like the most about M25 :

  1. 72 hour standby time and 16 hours of talk time
  2. 2.4 inch QVGA screen and the theater like experience. Zen Mobile M25 Zen Mobile Zen M25 Dual SIM
  3. A cost of 3400 rupees which is a steal.
  4. It has the uber-popular Dual SIM capability –I have said enough about dual SIM.

A power packed M25 :

  1. FM Radio and loudspeaker
  2. Bluetooth
  3. Music and video player
  4. 1.3 megapixel camera.

It would be interesting to know how long would it take to charge the battery. If someone is traveling then a quick 10 min charge on this can last for say 10 hours this will be an excellent sidekick for a power hungry and powerful smartphones.
