MTS Launches 3 new budget Android 2.3 CDMA Phones

Mobiles New Gadget Launch

Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) extended its handset functions by launching 3 new Smartphones that are based on Android 2.3. As some of the licenses of SSTL are cancelled by the supreme court, currently it offers CDMA services under the brand name MTS.

Coming to the Smartphones, MTS offered the users with a wide array of Smartphones with different specifications and features, till today.

Now, the company is entering to a different level by launching its 3 new CDMA Smartphones MTag 281, MTag 351, and MTag 352 that will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. All the 3 Smartphones are designed with lots of features and advanced specifications. If we have a look at the specs of MTag 281, MTag 351, and MTag 352, we will find some similar and some different specs.

Specs of MTag 281

MTag 281 Runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread processor and powered by Snapdragon S1 processor, a QVGA display of 2.8 inches with a resolution of 240 X 320 pixels, rear camera of 3MP, a battery of 1200 mAh etc.

Specs of MTag 351

MTag 351 has capacitive touch screen of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels, 2GB micro SD card, VGA front facing camera, 3Mp rear camera with LED flash, thickness of 12.15mm and a battery of 1300 mAh. It is available in spicy red and Bluish black color.

Specs of MTag 352

MTag 352 has a capacitive touch screen of 3.5 inches with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 3MP camera and a 1400 mAh battery.

Other than the above said specifications, all the 3 Smartphones have some common specs such as – Android 2.3 Gingerbread, CPU of Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 of 800 MHz, 256 MB of RAM, internal memory of 128 MB, external Micro SD card slot of 32GB, TFT LCD display, Micro USB, Bluetooth, WI-fi, 3.5 mm jack, FM radio, supports CDMA 1 X (800 MHZ), restricted by MTS network, supports different video formats like – MP3, AAC, OGG, EAAC+, MR etc. All the three devices have a built-in gravity sensor and comes without motion sensor.

MTS Promotional Offer on New MTAG phones

  • An ‘unlimited data plan with a speed of up to 3.1 Mbps and a validity of 1 month. After 1 month, the speed drops to 153 Kbps.
  • Free local calling from MTS-To-MTS for 3 months. But , these calls are limited to 150 Min/day.
  • A rate of 1p/sec for national and locals of other subscribers etc
  • Not only this, the company is also offering free access to MTS TV for a duration of 1 month for all the buyers of any of these Smartphones
  • The buyers will get an additional recharge coupon of Rs 259 with MTag 281 and a recharge coupon of Rs 492 with the other two Smartphones- MTag 351 and MTag 352
  • At last, MTS is offering a Free Recharge Coupon (FRC) of Rs. 8 for activating any of the schemes

Pricing

The company has priced the MTag 281 at Rs 5500, MTag 351 at Rs. 7500 and MTag 352 at Rs.6500. These Smartphones by MTS at such a cheap rate will definitely appeal to the CDMA users in India.
