Motorola Quench XT3 is the latest phone to join the India Android club. There is no dearth of Android phones. Spice, Videocon, HTC, Samsung and Motorola have all launched Android phones. Micromax is rumored to be launching its Android phone. What makes Motorola Quench any different? For starters, for the price of Rs. 12500 and for the features it packs in, Motorola Quench is a steal.
Quench is a fully loaded smart phone with a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen. It runs Android 1.6 (Donuts) operating system. Quench has 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. Quench runs a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM. Many tablet PCs launched in India have a 400 MHz processors and 128 MB RAM. That makes Quench a super smart phone. Not necessarily a tablet.
Quench has 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi making it a nice fit for road warrior’s repertoire. Quench tops it all with Indias favorite mobile phone feature – FM Radio. The usual stuff of 3.5 mm audio jack, 2 GB memory, micro-USB, GPS and location services are all present.
The phone is available for sale on Flipkart. Retail store might not yet have it.

NicholasExcellent comparison. How about Magazine suirsciptbons? and student oriented apps? Im not crazy about the Ipad. I like the Xoom but worry about delayed updates like smartphones suffer from. I own a Google Nexus S but since there isn’t a Nexus tablet around, Im always hesitant to purchase a non Google specific tablet. Also, how does Motorola treat updates? Ive heard horror stories with Samsung. and will it get 4.0? thanks again!
