India gadget world is xooming with sensation’s and flyers. While HTC is dominating India’s smartphone market with a new phone launch every other week, Motorola and RIM are flaunting their new tablet toys, hoping to see if they get some sales going. The down-but-not-out Nokia is launching dual SIM phones and business phones to see if people still like Nokia.
HTC Flyer
HTC Flyer is HTC’s first tablet to come out after a plethora of smartphone launches. HTC which had always counted India a friendly market, has decided to launch it in India within few months of its global launch. HTC Flyer’s price in India is Rs. 37499. Now that we have the price out of the way, Flyer sports a 7 inch touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel secondary camera,3G, WiFi, 1.5 GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 32 GB storage. Flyer runs Android with HTC Sense topping.
HTC Sensation
HTC Sensation one of the few super phones available in India is priced at Rs. 30499. While a price drop is almost customary, at 30K Sensation is worthy buying. Sensation comes with 4.3 inch TFT display screen, 8 megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel rear camera, Android 2.3, 768 MB RAM and 1.2 GHz dual core processor.
Nokia E6
Nokia is bringing those smartphone thick and fast. Though it isn’t matching HTC for phone for phone but Nokia isn’t far behind. Nokia E6 is a QWERTY+Touch screen phone loaded with Symbian Anna. E6 has a 2.4 inch display, 4 row keypad, 8 megapixel camera, 32 GB memory support, JoikuSpot (WiFi hotspot) and all other Nokia goodness.
Motorola Xoom
A tablet with a barometer, that’s Motorola Xoom for you. While no one is really sure about why a barometer is on a tablet, Xoom is all set to enter India later this month. Xoom has a 10.1 inch HD display, Android 3.0, 1 GHz nvdia Tegra 2 Dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 5 megapixel camera and 2 megapixel camera in the front. The price isn’t out yet officially, but from what we have seen this would be a sub-40K tablet with a series of price drops after few weeks of launching.
Huawei Tablets
Huawei not to be left out by the tablet gold rush has announced its line of tablets priced at 25K and 20K. IDeos Slim S7 is a Android 2.2 powered 7 inch tablet and Huawei Media tablet has a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor, runs Android 3.1, has a 5 megapixel camera.
